Material Bank—Design System.
Material Bank's design system evolved from a comprehensive redesign initiative, beginning with a full set of screens for the main user flow based on our new style guide. Through iterative interface variations, the team developed a consistent user experience, culminating in a robust component library in Figma. This library transformed into a full-fledged design system. While implementation faced challenges due to the monolithic structure of the digital product, the system maintained a desktop-first approach with component-level adaptability, laying the groundwork for future cross-platform interactions despite a historically low mobile user base.
